Over at the online video project Alive in Baghdad, they are raising funds for a fallen member of their journalistic team who was killed on December 14th:

According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), 173 journalists and media support workers, the overwhelming majority of them Iraqi, have been killed since the US-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003. This makes the Iraqi conflict the deadliest for journalists in CPJ's 25-year history.

Please join Electronic Iraq in expressing our sympathies to the family of Ali Shafeya and the entire Alive in Baghdad team.
